Our Butters

Echiré is an AOP Charentes-Poitou butter which received the Prix d’Excellence Française in November 2015. Created in 2009, the Prix d’Excellence Française annually honours companies committed to promoting France throughout the world for their knowledge, creativity and their innovative nature.

What is the AOP butter Charentes-Poitou ?
AOP Charentes-Poitou butter is made exclusively from milk cream from the departments of Charente, Charente-Maritime, Deux-Sèvres, Vienne and Vendée. Thanks to a slow phase of biological maturation of the cream, specific to Charentes-Poitou AOP butter, its personality asserts itself.
Our Echiré AOP butter made in a wooden churn has natural qualities that make it the king of puff pastry, croissants, pastries… all over the world.
